The Valley Gem offers a unique river experience on the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers. Along with our many public tours, we offer customized private cruises for groups of 40 or more. You choose the itinerary and the menu and we take care of the rest. Our facilities feature a cafe, restrooms and a climate controlled lower deck. |

Step 1: Choose your itinerary.
One hour charter: go upstream to the halfway point
of Marietta Island.
Two hour charter: go around Marietta Island
upstream or go around Muskingum Island downstream.
Three hour charter: go downstream past Muskingum, Halfway, and Neal Islands, almost to Parkersburg, or
upstream and be in sight of Willow Island Lock and Dam. On daylight charters, we can lock through at Devol’s Dam.Four hour charter: go upstream through Willow Island Lock and Dam. The Willow Island locks are longer than the locks at the Panama Canal.

A guest count is due ten days prior to cruise date.

You may bring your own food or choose a menu package. You are NOT permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the boat due to our liquor license. We can provide bar service for your trip. You may decorate the boat, but lit candles and confetti are not permitted. Linens are available for rent. Retainers of $100.00 per hour are required to hold your reservation. The balance is due by the day of the cruise.

All menu packages include a two hour cruise, buffet meal with attendants and
live narration. There is a 50 adult minimum for any private cruise. |
