You may charter the boat at any time other than our regularly scheduled cruises.  

Food: On all charters you may have a potluck or arrange for a caterer.

Drinks: If you wish to have alcohol on a charter, you may bring your own or have a licensed bartender provide the alcohol for you. Alcohol may not be served in glass.

Music: You may arrange for a DJ or band, or use our sound system to play your CDs or MP3s.

Decorations: We allow 1 hour prior to departure for decoration/set-up.

Cruise Routes: On a two-hour charter go around Marietta Island, upstream, or around Muskingum Island, downstream. On a three-hour charter go downstream past Muskingum, Halfway, and Neal Islands, almost to Parkersburg, or upstream and be in sight of Willow Island Lock and Dam, or during daylight hours, and with advanced notice, lock through Devols Dam on the Muskingum River. On a four-hour charter go upstream through Willow Island Lock and Dam.

Amenities: ice machine, Bunn coffeemakers, fresh running hot and cold water, a refrigerator, plenty of power outlets, rectangular tables (2.5 x 6 and 2.5x 8), round tables on the upper deck, chairs, live narration (upon request), microphone jacks and microphones upstairs and downstairs, an enclosed climate-controlled lower deck (21 x 75) which comfortably seats 98 for a buffet meal, an open top deck (comfortably seats 140) with an awning over half of it, a landing barge that you may include in your planning

The Valley Gem is Coast Guard approved to hold up to 296 people on either deck at one time, however, we do not recommend that for the comfort of your guests.
