The Valley Gem offers seasonal and full time employment as we now run year round. We do require that all deckhand personnel pass a drug test and be part of a random drug testing pool as required by the United States Coast Guard.

Available Positions:
Deckhand/Banquet Server: Join our crew and work aboard one of the most unique and historical venues in Marietta! Our Deckhand/Banquet Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests on public and private events. Duties include, but are not limited to, money/cash drawer handling, salad prep and buffet-style food service, bar tending (if of legal age), event space setup and tear down, as well as maintaining the vessel's cleanliness. We are looking for outgoing, hardworking individuals who are excited to share a piece of history with our guests. New hires will be required to pass an initial drug test and remain in a random drug testing pool. Training for additional deckhand duties, such as tying and untying the vessels,
will be provided by our staff.

Kitchen Help: Join our crew and work aboard our "floating kitchen"! Our galley kitchen on the Major/Riviera produces incredible meals both for both buffet style and specialty plated meals. Our Executive Chef, Casandra Clark, is looking for individuals with prep experience, basic knife skills and someone who is passionate about food.

Dishwasher: Join our crew and work aboard our "floating kitchen"! We are hiring a dishwasher to work alongside our Executive Chef and kitchen staff to help with dish washing, general clean up and stocking.
