Paula Oliverio
Paula Oliverio is a theatrical veteran and world traveler. She and husband Joe, just completed reaching their 7th continent- Antarctica. Paula portrays the historical figure Margaret Blennerhassett for Blennerhassett State Park. She is a former high school drama director, and has directed and performed in many productions at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg. She is currently an educator with Pleasants County Schools and the Arts Education Coordinator for Artsbridge. Paula and therapy dog, Arlo, volunteer as a team for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and The Red Cross. She has been with “The Company” since its inception. Paula is thrilled to continue performing a third year with “The Company.” She states “sharing the stage with such talented and supportive friends is a wonderful experience.” Paula and husband Joe have one daughter, Alyssa. Paula and Joe live in Pleasants County, WV with fur babies Arlo and Lexie. |
Nathaniel Hurst
Nathaniel is ecstatic to be joining the Valley Gem family. He was most recently seen as Mr. Stephens/Rev. Bliss in Carrie: the musical at the MOVP theater. Nathaniel is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana where he performed in shows such as Willy Wonka Jr, and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theater. Born into a family of music lovers, Nathaniel has had a love of music for as long as he can remember, and enjoyed performing in choirs and men’s quartets for many years. Apart from singing and acting, he is also a self published horror author of works such as TINY TALES OF TERROR and THE TAKING. Nathaniel lives in Saint Marys, West Virginia with his son, Tucker, and three cats: Simba, Samantha, and Goose. |
Chloe Arnold
Chloe Arnold is a performer who has been with The Company since its first season. She has played a wide variety of roles on the Major/Riviera and Valley Gem, ranging from Boss Butler in the murder mystery Trouble in Deadwood to Peppermint Patty in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. You may have also seen him on the Actors Guild stage as the Black Cat in Murder by Poe and in the ensemble of Elf: the Musical. She has been in choral groups most of her life, including the PHS A Cappella and Chamber choirs. He is thankful to have made such a great theatre family and to get to perform with her mother and fellow Company member, Missy. |
Brittany Ward
Ever since Brittany moved to Parkersburg in her sixth grade year, she has been discovering her passion for the stage. She has been actively involved in various theatrical productions, most recently playing the roles of Spot in Newsies, the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol and Meg March in Little Women. Apart from her love for the theatre, Brittany is also a member of the PHS A Cappella Choir, Thespian Troupe #264, Speech and Debate Team, National Honors Society, and National English Honors Society. She is excited to join the Company this season and continue pursuing her passion for performing. Brittany would like to recognize her family for being the best support system in the world and never missing a chance to come cheer her on. |
Cassaundra (Cassie) Cline
Cassie has been singing since she could talk. She is delighted and excited to now be singing with the talented crew of The Company. Over the last several years, Cassie has been featured on the stage of the Actors Guild of Parkersburg (SHOUT!, The Producers, La Cage aux Folles) and as a vocalist with the Parkersburg Choral Society and a local jazz group. She has been a featured performer in several cabarets with The Company, including Christmas on Broadway, Red, White, & Broadway, and Love on Broadway, leading Cassie to receive the Best Leading Performer in a Cabaret Award for The Company in 2023. When she isn’t on stage or belting her heart out, Cassie is a house manager, the color guard instructor at Belpre High School, and a certified yoga instructor. She is currently in a masters program at the Maryland University of Integrative Health for an M.S. in Yoga Therapy. Cassie has been married to her wife, Lyndsay, since they eloped in the Sequoia’s in 2019. They live joyfully together with their 4 cats, 4 dogs, and a house full of fur and love. |
Ellie Yeater
Ellie Yeater was born and raised here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. She is no stranger to performing with over 36 productions under her belt! Some of her favorite roles include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Carrie in Carrie the Musical, Maria in The Sound of Music, and Marian in The Music Man. She also performed in the Hee Haw Revue at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg where she unleashed her inner Dolly by singing Mule Skinner Blues. Ellie also performs at Blennerhassett Island for Candlelight Night and for Live Your Dream Princess Events. When not performing, Ellie attends Marietta College where she is pursuing a degree in Strategic Communications and minors in Theatre and Health Comm. She is also a member of the Chi Omega sorority! In her very little free time, Ellie likes to read and do puzzles alongside her cat, Boo. |
Jeff DeWitt
Jeff DeWitt is one of the original members of The Company. A Morgantown native, Jeff was a voice major at WVU, studying with Jon Crain. While at WVU he was a featured soloist with the WVU Varsity Men's Glee, performed with the 300 + member WVU Choir. Jeff has performed regionally with The Pittsburgh Opera Theater, big bands, and in Parkersburg with the Actors Guild as the Rabbi in Fiddler On The Roof, and a number of roles in The Producers. His work with The Company has spanned Murder Mysteries, cabarets, historical figures, Santa, and Harman Blennerhassett, with Paula Oliverio as Margaret for events on Blennerhassett Island, and historical events in the area. He has voiced George Bailey, and other characters in It's a Wonderful Life radio play. Jeff is in Management with the George L. Wilson Co and serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations, including Artsbridge, where he is President Elect. |
Missy Arnold
Missy Arnold has been with The Company since its beginning. She has had many different roles such as Violet Rose in the Murder Mystery, The Death Of Doctor Pepper, to Inspector Cray in The Patient, and Mrs. Crum in Afternoon at the Seaside. She also has done Roaring ‘20s and Renaissance Cruises, and also performed in many Cabarets and singing events ranging from Beatles Night to Diva Night. You may have seen her in a few plays and musicals at The Actors Guild of Parkersburg, such as Mary Poppins, Elf, and SHOUT!. She is so happy to have overcome her fear of being on the stage and now she can’t get enough of entertaining people. She loves being able to perform with her friends and daughter, Chloe. |
Bob Francis
Bob Francis served in the United States Marine Corp from 1973-1976 at Camp David in Security Company under President Ford. He then worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA and is now retired. These days, Bob enjoys onstage work with the Actors Guild of Parkersburg as well as commercial and film work. You might’ve seen him featured as Jacob Marley in Scrooge: The Musical, the Manager in Elf The Musical, Horse in The Full Monty, Barbie in The Grandest Canyon, Captain Markenson in A Few Good Men, or The Minister in To Kill A Mockingbird. In Film and TV, Bob has been featured in an episode of AMC’s The American West, Khange The Game (film), and can be seen in the upcoming film, Sacred Grounds. He feels blessed to have the opportunity to perform with the talented and fun folks of ‘The Company’! |
Ashley Fluharty
Ashley is one of the founding members of The Company. While she has appeared in many shows at the Company, you may recognize her as Bonnie Captain Bonny Bellamy in ‘Who Killed Jolly Roger?’. She was awarded Best Supporting Actor for that role in The Company’s 2023 season. Ashley has also appeared in several shows at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg throughout the years including Elf the Musical, The Addams Family, and Fiddler on the Roof. She received the Khalil Award for Best Actress of the Actors Guild’s 2021-2022 season for her performance as Ella in Roger’s & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Ashley is a cosmetologist at Simply Irresistible Hair Salon in Parkersburg and a former cast member at Walt Disney World where she performed in the Epcot Candlelight Processional. She now continues to make magic and spread happiness with her own company: Live Your Dream Princess Events. Ashley enjoys making people smile and loves that she gets to do so with her friends at The Company. |
Analeigh (Ana) Bennett
Ana is so excited to be performing again with The Company at the Valley Gem. This is her first official season as the youngest female member of the Company, and she is so excited to be a part of it. Ana has been a part of many productions such as The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Disney’s Descendants (Audrey), The SpongeBob musical (Pearl), as well as Little women (Amy March) and many others at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg. Ana has participated in two productions already with The Company as a junior member, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Sally) and Scrooge’s Christmas: A Christmas Carol (Belinda Cratchit). She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, and sharing her art. Ana is so grateful for her parents for taking her to and from rehearsals, helping her learn her lines, and supporting her in all she does. Although Ana is very young, she is looking forward to a big, bright future with the company! |
Conner Medendorp
Conner is a 19-year-old actor with a passion for storytelling. He’s been employed by the Valley Gem since fall of 2022 and has made it his goal to dedicate himself to each part he gets, both on the river and off. When he isn’t helping to tell other people’s stories, he’s spending time with his friends to make more stories of his own to share. He’s been in several productions, including Sweeney Todd, Madagascar the Musical, The Producers, and Cinderella. Conner notably played as Wadsworth in Clue with the Mid Ohio Valley Players, Crutchie in Newsies with the Actors Guild of Parkersburg, & Snoopy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown here with The Company. Conner has been heavily featured in the murder mystery series here at the Valley Gem, leading him to the 2023 Company Award for Best Leading Actor in a murder mystery. Conner is very excited to work with The Company at the Valley Gem/Major Riviera for another season. |
Hope Elizabeth Eller
Hope Elizabeth is the Co-Founding Artistic Director of the Company at The Valley Gem. The Marblehead, Ohio native credits her passion for making theatre to her time spent performing with community and regional theaters across the state of Ohio since the age of three. She additionally derived a love for tourism and event planning throughout childhood summers spent working and performing for Lakeside Chautauqua. While working towards her degree, Hope performed in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, a negro-spiritual choir, a Traveling TYA Educational Theatre Troupe, the Annual Broadway Cares Benefit, and she taught children’s theatre part-time with the Children’s Theatre Workshop of Toledo. Hope was featured as an actor in several mainstage collegiate productions, leading her to a nomination for the KCACTF Irene Ryan Acting Award in 2018. Hope graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre and Acting/Directing. She co-founded The Company at The Valley Gem with wife, Alex, in the following year. Hope would like to thank all the artists of The Company for allowing her the opportunity to be a creative leader in a thriving artistic community. She “hopes” you enjoy all of the shows presented throughout our third season! |
Zach Gaston
Zach Gaston is a 8th grader who is excited to perform in his 2nd show with ‘The Company’. He is an aspiring performer and is a member of his school choir. You may have seen Zach onstage in Elf The Musical, Wizard of Oz, or Descendants with the Actor’s Guild. Zach has also done backstage work for The Producers and Madagascar Jr. Zach would like to thank his family and his friend Jack Peyton for all their support. |
Alexandra (Alex) Lenzo
Alex is so thankful to be The Company at the Valley Gem’s Co-Founder and Music Director as well as an actor for its third season. Alex graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2018, where she studied Music Education with a choral focus. She studied voice under Metropolitan Opera’s Myra Merritt and Grammy Award Winning Jazz vocalist, Kim Nazarian. During this time, Alex also directed and starred in several of BGSU’s annual Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS productions. She enjoyed volunteering as the Business Manager for BGSU’s chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, a national theatre honor society. Alex then taught in public schools and held the position of Music Director for the Children’s Theatre Workshop of Toledo, where she directed James and the Giant Peach, Seussical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and The Little Mermaid. Alex moved to Marietta with her wife and dog in 2021 and now serves as the Executive Assistant for Valley Gem Inc. Alex is thankful to Captains Heather and Jason for taking on this theatrical venture and believing in this idea. She also would like to thank Hope for directing alongside her and supporting her wildest dreams, always. |
Ket Perkins
Klaire (Ket) Perkins is thrilled to be a part of The Company at The Valley Gem, joining in the middle of the group's second season. Originally hailing from Parkersburg, West Virginia, Ket studied Theatre, Sustainability, and Agriculture at Berea College in Kentucky. They have obtained a B.A. in theatre and a double minor in agriculture and sustainability upon their graduation in May of 2023. As a collegiate actor, they were featured in numerous shows on the Berea College stage, such as Delilah in Past Time, Dotty Otley in Noises Off!, and Friendship in Everybody, as well as many other roles. For two semesters they held the officer position of Treasurer for the Berea College's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega. They were also featured in the Berea College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers for nine semesters. They held the Vice Presidency and Presidency of the choir for a combined five semesters. You may have also seen them portray Charlotte in The Actor's Guild's performance of R&H's Cinderella. Upon joining The Company shortly after their graduation, they have been featured in multiple Cabarets, Murder Mysteries, dramatic and comedic performances, and musical events. Ket wants to thank everyone who encouraged them to audition for The Company, as well as Hope, Alex, and The Valley Gem staff and owners, as their involvement with The Community has opened many doors in regards to their future. |
Olivia Parsons
Olivia is a local performer who is excited to be part of The Company at the Valley Gem! She has been involved with local theater in one form or another since she was tiny. Olivia has fulfilled many roles both in front of and behind the curtain. Most notably you might have seen her as Madame in Roger’s & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at the Actors Guild of Parkersburg and as Lucy VanPelt in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown here at the Valley Gem for which she won “Best Actor in a Lead Role” for the 2023 Season. Olivia also made her assistant directorial debut here at the Valley Gem during Agatha Christie’s The Patient. She is currently the Director of the Ely Chapman Spotlight Theater Program at the Ely Chapman Education Foundation. Olivia would like to remember her godfather, David Sindledecker, for introducing her to this industry. She would also like to thank her whole family for supporting her journey in the arts, especially her children Derek, Ellie, and Fletcher. |
Grace Miller
Grace Miller, a 16-year-old Parkersburg native, has a passion for performing that shines brightly on stage. For over half her life, she has danced for Tina's Dance Studio One, even competing for her last four years. Her talents extend beyond dance, as she's also a regional and state award-winning actress and singer. While performing has always been a love, she's been seriously training in musical theater for the past three years. She's had the privilege of learning from professional performers like Gigi Watson, Jack Cirillo, and Gabby Thomas. Currently, Grace is working with the My College Auditions program in Boston and plans to apply to several colleges this fall to pursue a BFA in Musical Theater. She's excited to continue honing her craft and can't wait to see what the future holds with these fabulous performers on the Valley Gem! |
Christopher Lewis
Christopher Lewis is a versatile and accomplished performer known for bringing iconic characters to the stage. With a career spanning just over 1 year, Chris has captivated audiences with talent and charismatic presence. One of Chris’ favorite roles was that of Captain Von Trapp in the timeless classic, The Sound of Music. Chris then showcased his dynamic range as Danny Zuko in the electrifying musical Grease. Chris demonstrated his ability to embody a charming and charismatic con artist with a heart of gold as Harold Hill in The Music Man. The character's charm and quick wit came to life under Chris’ skillful portrayal, earning him praise for their captivating performance in this classic musical. Chris joined The Company in Summer 2023 and has enjoyed performing several roles, his favorite being Captain Will Handsome in the Murder Mystery, Who Killed Jolly Roger? He looks forward to performing and growing with The Company. |
Maeghan O’Neill
Maeghan O’Neill is excited to be back performing with The Company! As an original member, she’s been seen in many sold-out murder mysteries, cabarets, and special events! Maeghan has been performing since the age of 3 and has been in more than 40 shows, including a performance at the Orpheum Theatre in NYC. She spent 3 weeks studying improv at the prestigious Interlochen arts camp. Some of her favorite roles include: The Beggar Women in Sweeney Todd, Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical, Beatrice in Much Ado about Nothing, Mr Green in Clue, and Miss Trunchbull in Matilda. Currently, Maeghan is an 18 year old animation student at Columbus College of Art and Design. Maeghan would like to thank her fellow performers, her partner Andy and her cats Freddie and Loki for always believing in her! |
Joe Oliverio
Joe has performed with The Company in Scrooge’s Christmas: A Christmas Carol, It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Play, and The Trials of Ebenezer Scrooge, and with The Actors Guild of Parkersburg in Mama Mia, 1776, and Young Frankenstein, just to name a few. He was most recently seen as a period dancer at the “Mansion by Candlelight” event on Blennerhassett Island. He served WV as a former music educator, principal, county administrator, and Executive Director for a multi-county service agency and Ohio as a principal, and has retired from both states. He presently serves with the Pleasants County Sheriff’s Department as a Court Officer and as an observer/evaluator of college basketball officials. He and his wife Paula have a daughter Alyssa and enjoy traveling internationally and sharing the stage together. They reside in Pleasants County, WV with their dogs Lexie and Arlo. |
Shroom Mollendick
Shroom Moellendick is new to The Company and is excited for the season. Shroom is 19 years old and has graduated from Parkersburg High School in 2023, they aren’t new to the stage as well. Shroom has performed in many roles ranging from Mrs. White in Clue at Mid-Ohio Valley Players to Eugene in Grease at The Actors Guild of Parkersburg. Shroom's most recent roles were Tom in The Night of the Living Dead at Mid-Ohio Valley Players and Specs in Newsies at The Actors Guild of Parkersburg. They have always had a passion for performing and owning the stage no matter how small the part. Shroom is a multi-talented artist going from digital work to makeup and fashion. They were recently put on a mural on The Actors Guild building in their role as Specs in Newsies and they are honored to be a part of the acting community and love the people that come with it. They are excited for the new season and is ready to own the floor in any role they are given. |
Dylan Large
Dylan Large is a 21-year-old Actor, Singer, and Choreographer all the way from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is thrilled to be back for his 2nd season with ‘The Company at the Valley Gem’. You may have seen Dylan in a few shows last season such as; You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Schroeder) or one of the many cabarets, murder mysteries, and holiday shows and events we hosted throughout the year. Dylan would like to Thank his directors, Hope and Alex, for giving him the opportunity to “spread his wings'' as a performer right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Dylan would also like to thank his “fur-baby” at home, Cheech, for sticking by his side throughout his move up North. When Dylan’s not performing you can find him operating his mobile dog grooming business, “Dylan’s Classy Lassies''. He hopes each and every one of you enjoy your time spent on the river with The Company this season! |
Gavin Honse
Gavin Honse is a talented, passionate and versatile actor with a passion for storytelling and the stage. Born in Florida and raised in West Virginia, Gavin discovered his love for acting at a young age , and has been honing in on his craft ever since. Throughout their career they have appeared in a variety of productions, showcasing their ability to bring complex characters to life. From Sondheim classics like Sweeney Todd and into the woods to modern dramas like Carrie the musical , grease, bang bang you’re dead and recently a midnight masquerade murder mystery . Gavin is very excited to be working with the valley gem and can not wait to see what characters he gets the opportunity to bring to life! Gavin has tackled a diverse range of roles, each one displaying their remarkable talent and skill as an actor. Gavin is sure to continue to captivate audiences for years to come. |
Rachelle Snyder
Rachelle Snyder is beyond excited to make her debut with The Company! Hailing from Zanesville, OH, Rachelle currently attends Marshall University as a double major in Communication Disorders and Music. Although she studies classical voice, her performances onstage are of great variety. Rachelle got her start in musical theatre in fifth grade, her favorite roles since then being Rona in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Morticia in Addams Family, Fraulein Kost/Fritzie in Cabaret, and Jo March in Little Women. Rachelle has also played saxophone for ten years, belonging to a variety of jazz, concert, and marching bands, most notably being the David Schubach Big Band, Zanesville Memorial Concert Band, and the Marching Thunder. She is thrilled to be spending a summer performing with such talented and kind people and is so thankful for this opportunity! |
Tim Tuten
Tim Tuten is very excited and humbled to be performing with The Company and his debut to the Major Riviera. He has been active in theater since late 2017 and has performed 16 total productions at the Mid Ohio Valley Players, Actors Guild of Parkersburg and People’s Bank Theatre collectively. He aspires to keep growing as an actor and as a director. He would like to thank The Company at the Major Riviera, his cast mates, his family and his loves: Lacey and Merlin.
